The outward spiral from the center of our Star of Life represents continuous touches, connections and contributions that have been achieved. The outer dimension is a 5-pointed star that brightens and warms a special path.

The spiral represents a rippling effect like a pebble hitting the pond of life. Each person that is touched will retain special memories. Those touched will learn and pass on their enlightenment from being touched.

The Star of Life illuminates a special path in our hearts. This shining helps us see an irrefutable direction. The warmth generated by the special feeling and generosity will help us follow an enlightened direction in our life.

The Star of Life is symbolic for love, life and the ability to be a "giving" person. Life in a world of Givers is special. A special person is one that is willing to take the extra step to help others and give unconditionally. We have been blessed to know a Star that will change us forever.

The Star of Life logo seems to have a pulsation in its look. It has made a visual transition on some apparel but still holds the same values as when it was first made for the Foundation.

The design will see changes to meet different requirements and looks but will always remain with the same 5 points, stem and the swirl. Each Star of Life represents much more than the design. The original hand made design had indents from the designer’s hammer, bends that were not perfectly symmetrical, and lines that were not true. The design was not meant to be perfect but realistic.

Over the years we have been fortunate to have items made that enhanced the Star of Life for specific purposes. The demand for the Star of Life also required similar change to accommodate requests for the Star of Life. Change will always be in our evolution just as we strive to meet the needs of families needing support.

The Star of Life is representative of our ability to accept change and add value to future individuals touched by a giving soul. We remember those who gave something special to help us. We can be givers in return and help those that follow. You are special, unique and truly one-of-a-kind. The Star of Life is the same.
