From time to time, Board of Director seats will become vacant.  It is at these time we will announce an open position and interview canidates to fill these positions. 

At the time of open posting, if you are interested in serving on the board please send an inquiry of interest to Jeanne Shockley, President at jshockley@staroflife.org and in the subject line please indicate "Open Board of Director Position".  In your inquiry please tell us about yourself, any previous boards you have been a member of, experience in the nonprofit sector, and any other information you think we may need to know.

The board will review your inquiry of interest.  The board will follow up with a formal invitation to apply and will include the Board Member application.  Those canidates who make it to the next step will recieve an appointment to meet with the board.  Interviews will be held in person with all board members present.

Final selection will take place at a closed meeting of the board.
